This Weeks workout: "Model Strongman Competetition"
-Press Medley (Barbell, Axel, Log) 2 minutes for rounds
-Farmers walk (100 ft ) for time
- Axel deadlift (90 seconds) for reps
-Rear loaded sled drag (500 lbs.) 70 ft for time
May 12-22 Colorado Springs Olympic Training Trip (double sessions daily)
-Train at the Olympic Training Center with USA Weightlifting head coach
-Run up Manitou incline (60 degree incline 1 mile up)
-Altitude training on Pikes Peak
-Mountain biking and cycling
-Rock climbing and hiking
-Recovery therapy with chiroparactic, message, ice baths.
May 23-24 Crossfit Regional Qualifiers
-9 states in the northeast to send top 5 men of 300 competitors
May 25th Spartan Training's Dave Lipson takes 4th, Goes to World Championship to compete for fittest man alive!
-4th overall
-regional record with 6:31 2K row event
-6 weeks to prepare for world championship in California July 10th
